Five jars, ten minutes, zero cooking. You stir one bowl of oats, milk, yogurt, and chia, divide it five ways, and breakfast is handled for the work week. Each jar lands at roughly 20 grams of protein, which is enough to keep a busy morning from turning into a bakery stop.
The chia does double duty here: it thickens the oats to a pudding-like texture and adds fiber. Greek yogurt carries the protein, and the berries can go in frozen — they thaw overnight and keep the oats cold and fresh.
Ingredients
- rolled oats2 1/2 cups (225 g)
- unsweetened almond milk or low-fat milk2 1/2 cups (610 g)
- nonfat plain Greek yogurt1 1/4 cups (285 g)
- chia seeds5 tbsp (40 g)
- honey2 tbsp (42 g)
- vanilla extract1 tsp (5 ml)
- mixed berries, fresh or frozen1 1/4 cups (185 g)
- sliced almonds5 tsp (25 g)
Directions
- 1
Set out five 16-ounce jars with lids and line them up on the counter.
- 2
In a large bowl, stir the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey, and vanilla until evenly combined.
- 3
Divide the mixture among the jars, filling each about two-thirds full and leaving room for toppings.
- 4
Top each jar with 1/4 cup berries, pressing them gently into the oats, then seal the lids.
- 5
Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight, 8 to 12 hours, so the oats and chia absorb the liquid.
- 6
Add the sliced almonds the morning you eat each jar so they stay crunchy.

Tips
- ✓Keep jars covered in the fridge for up to 4 days; stir before eating.
- ✓Frozen berries are the budget move and they chill the oats as they thaw.
- ✓Swap honey for mashed banana or a teaspoon of maple syrup if you want a different sweetness.
